80GHz Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW)Radar Level Transmitter supports both 4-wire and 2-wire configurations. With multiple models available, the device offers a maximum measuring range of 120 meters and a blind zone as low as 8 cm. Operating at a higher frequency with a shorter wavelength, this radar is particularly suitable for solid material measurement. Its lens-based antenna design ensures reliable performance in high-dust environments and extreme temperatures(up to +200°C). The transmitter provides flange or threaded mounting options, enabling quick and easy installation.

The radar level transmitter operates on the time-of-flight principle.The radar wave travels at the speed of light, and its transit time is converted into a level signal by electronic components. The probe emits high-frequency pulses that propagate along the cable probe. When the pulses encounter the material surface, they are reflected to the receiver inside the instrument, which then converts the distance signal into a level measurement. |
